I love food. That’s it. I just love it.
I am passionate about living and eating healthy, which is often a challenge since I travel almost 100% of my time for work. I look for creative ways to incorporate healthy eating and exercising habits into my unusual lifestyle. By harnessing the collective will power of like-minded coworkers and setting challenging fitness goals (I recently ran my first half marathon!) I am usually able to achieve this balance of healthy living and eating…but not always
Traveling for work and for pleasure takes me all over the country and the world – and to some amazing restaurants! I also love understanding how the magic happens, so my fiancée and I often undertake some courageous cooking experiments at home. Here, I am going to share those experiences.
No Regretts - A friend of mine was recently helping her mentee with his homework. One of the homework questions asked, ”What is your biggest regret?” The 8th grader answered, “One time, I fell asleep when my mom was making brownies and the whole family ate them all before I woke up!” Now that, is a man who has his priorities straight. This story inspired me to title my blog “No Regretts”. (The correct spelling was already taken – boo!)
Finally, one of my best friends and a truly inspirational woman inspired me to begin writing about food. Please check out her Pittsburgh-based foodie blog: http://snickies.wordpress.com/
Love the Miami breakfast header! I need some of that grapefruit juice, stat. Maybe a croissant as well.
