Great post on Chi gourmet. I went on sunday and did not have a great time. Many people have already discussed the topic to death so I didn’t add my two cents. Since I didn’t wait in line for the food, I checked out the cooking demos, and thought that was well worth every minute.

Just ate here yesterday. LOVED the brussel sprouts with chili and lime, even though I’m not a huge brussel sprouts fan. Also had the pork shoulder and while I think many people would really like it, I thought it was just okay and was lacking a bit of flavor. (This is only because I lived in the UK for over six years, where the pig is God and I’ve had pork shoulder more times than I can remember.) I thought the service was pretty spectacular though and I really loved the wine list.

GORGEOUS photos. Sadly–I scooped up a Groupon for Chicago Gourmet at 1/2 off, but then the closing on my condo got pushed back a week and I moved into my new place that weekend. Could not escape the mountain of boxes that needed to be unpacked and my Groupon went unused. Definitely need to get there next year!

I don’t know what looked the best! It all looked amazing! I think the D.B’s should make a trip to Chicago for this next year!
